Celebrating Diwali

Today the students of Sunnyhills are celebrating the Indian festival of Diwali.

 Some students came to school dressed in their traditional Indian outfits.

Team 11 had a fantastic morning in the kitchen making our pizzas and pizza dough.  We had to work out the quantities for the dough and convert some measurements in order to get the correct amount for our group's dough.  We let it sit for over an hour in a warm place before starting to prepare the ingredients for the pizza toppings. We made all sorts of pizzas including; Hawaiian, Margherita, Meat lovers and Vegetarian. We had to make sure that the slices were even and that everyone received an equal amount. They were delicious!
